Canadian actor of Indian descent, Vik Sahay, will appear in an upcoming episode of the Fox show's six-part event series of the 1993 show "The X-Files".
The "Chuck" star will play a man, Mulder (David Duchovny) turns to for information during an investigation, said The Hollywood Reporter.
The actor first announced his casting via Twitter over the weekend.

"The X-Files" revival includes the return of original series stars Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi, Annabeth Gish and William B Davis.
Sahay joins "X-Files" newcomers Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Joel McHale, Annet Mahendru, Rhys Darby and Kumail Nanjiani.
The limited series will begin on January 24 on Fox.
