Popular TV soap opera 'The Young and the Restless' was the big winner at the 41st Daytime Emmy Awards by bagging four of the main honours, including Outstanding Drama Series.
'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' received its eighth trophy as outstanding entertainment talk show at the awards ceremony last evening, which was livestreamed for the first time ever this year.
'The Young and the Restless' star Billy Miller bagged the award for best lead actor in a drama series while Eileen Davidson of NBC's 'Days of Our Lives' was named best drama series actress.

The 'Steve Harvey' show was honored as outstanding informative talk show and Harvey also won the outstanding game show host for 'Family Feud'.

Three Spanish-language categories were included for the first time, including winners for Morning Program (Un Nuevo Dia); Entertainment Program (Clix) and Daytime Talent (Rodner Figueroa, one of four nominated from El Gordo Y La Flaca).
Kathy Griffin hosted the ceremony, with Billy Bush and Mario Lopez among the presenters.
The Daytime Emmy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production and are presented to individuals and programmes.
