Thermax, an energy and environment solutions provider, today said it has won export contracts worth USD 157 million from a leading African conglomerate.
The company will supply four utility boilers, eight heat recovery steam generators and two flue gas steam generators for its refinery and petrochemical project coming up in Nigeria, Thermax said in a statement.
The scope of supply covers design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing and testing, and supervision of commissioning of these equipment at the site, it said.

The order, won against global competition, is valued at approximately USD 157 million.

Thermax equipment is for a grassroot 460,000 BPSD petroleum refinery and 600,000 TPA Polypropylene plant, the client is setting up in the Lekki Free Trade Zone of Nigeria.
