Moderate to dense fog engulfed most parts of eastern and western Uttar Pradesh with Muzaffarnagar recording the lowest temperature at 7 degrees Celsius.
Night temperature rose in Varanasi, Allahabad, Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur and Bareilly, though it fell in Gorakhpur, the Met office said today.
Muzaffarnagar recorded the lowest temperature of 7 degrees Celsius, they said adding weather remained dry all over the state.
It forecast dry weather and very dense to dense fog at several places in the state over the weekend.
