Thick fog envelopes Delhi

Delhiites woke up to a cold morning today with a thick blanket of fog enveloping the capital giving way to a clear sky later in the day.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 7.8 degrees Celsius, one notch above the normal, while maximum temperature was 19.3 degrees Celsius which was one notch below the normal.

The MeT department has predicted mainly a clear sky with moderate or dense fog in the morning tomorrow with the maximum and minimum temperatures remaining at 18 and 6 degrees Celsius respectively.

The humidity level oscillated between 100 per cent and 75 per cent.
