A thick smog enveloped the national capital today with the mercury settling at 25.3 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 11 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
A MeT Department official said that the humidity oscillated between 94 and 36 per cent.

The weatherman has forecast clear skies for tomorrow with the possibility of shallow to moderate fog in the morning.
"The skies will remain clear tomorrow. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to hover around 10 degrees Celsius and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively," the official said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature settled at 25.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 12.
