death by angry villagers at Dikuli village in Bihar's Darbhanga district, police said today.
Balia Paswan (50) was stealing some articles from a house at the village when villagers over powered him late last night, sources said.
They later beat him with sticks, lathis and iron rods leading to his instant death, sources said.
The body was brought to Darbhanga Medical College Hospital for postmortem.
