Thief gets 2 year imprisonment in Kishtwar

A thief was today awarded a two year imprisonment by a court here for committing thefts in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Kishtwar Balbir Lal Jaswal awarded two years imprisonment to Chander Parkash of Chomti-Bonnjwah for lurking house-breaking by night and committing thefts.

He was booked by the police after completion of inquiry proved the charges and filed the charge sheet before Chief Judicial Magistrate Kishtwar.

Although initially the accused denied the charges, but later he confessed the charges in open court, the court said.
