Police have been called in after thieves stole a haul of electronics from the set of Tea Leoni's new TV show 'Madam Secretary'.

Goods worth around USD 17,800, including two Apple Macbook Pros, were taken from the set of the political drama at Broadway Stages studios in Brooklyn, according to the New York Post.

Two men were caught on CCTV cameras outside the studios and police are looking to question them in connection with the incident.

The news comes just weeks after another theft from a set in Brooklyn. Thieves swiped thousands of dollars worth of computers and cell phones from the set of Robert De Niro's new movie 'The Intern', which was also being filmed in the New York City borough.
