Oscar-winner Emma Thompson, American TV star Nick Offerman and actress Kristen Schaal have joined Robert Redford in the comedy 'A Walk in the Woods'.
The film which is an adaptation of travel writer Bill Bryson's memoir, will be directed by Ken Kwapis, reported Variety.
The script will be penned by 'Little Miss Sunshine' writer Michael Arndt.
Based on Bryson's 1998 book A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail, the film recounts his attempt to walk the trail that runs from Georgia to Maine with a friend.
