Thoor dal,gram dal and sooji price increases

Prices of thoor dal,gram dal and sooji moved up while sugar moved down and rest all commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.

Thoor dal rose by Rs.200 per quintal to Rs.9,000 from its closing rates of Rs.8,800.

Gram dal increased by Rs.100 per quintal to Rs.4,900 from its previous rates of Rs 4,800.

Sooji (90 kgs) was up by Rs 100 to Rs.3,000 from its last rates of Rs.2,900.

Sugar declined by Rs.50 per quintal to Rs.2,900 from its last rate of Rs.2,950.

Urad dal, moong dal, wheat and maida ruled steady. Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (in Rs per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 9,000 Urad Dal Rs 8,400, Moong Dal Rs 9,800, Gram Dal Rs 4,900, Sugar Rs 2,900, Wheat Rs 2,800,Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,500 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,000.
