Underlining the importance of conserving and exhibiting India's ancient culture, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today said those who do not know the country's rich history may have a present but certainly no future.
"To understand our culture, it is best to understand our ancient coins, notes and off late stamps. These can help us in understanding what we were. Currencies of ancient times play a very important role in showing us a picture of those time," Fadnavis said.
He was addressing a gathering here after unveiling 'www.mintageworld.com', an online museum for vintage stamps, currency notes and coins on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of 'Shukla Day', an annual exhibition on coins, currencies and stamps.
