Ace designer Narendra Kumar today sent a social message, highlighting the growing aspirations of the Indian youth through his collection on the first day of Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2013 here.
His 'Thought Police' was a never seen before show aimed at the new generation that wants its voice to be heard.
A battalion of the 'Thought Police' wielding batons walked the ramp and one model was positioned at the head ramp carrying the flag. It was rebellion of the fashionable kind as Narendra brought his women and men's wear onto the runway.

The women's wear had dresses, skirts, jackets, trousers and sportswear, while for the men Narendra brought vibrant shades for jackets and shoes.
Narendra said his show can be interpreted in different ways by different people. "The show is open for any kind of interpretation to everyone."
Another designer Asmita Marwa presented her collection called 'Moon Magic' which had a feminine quality. Stopping the show for Asmita was actress Shriya Saran, dressed in an ink jumpsuit with a flowing printed dupatta.
Asmita displayed a delicately printed fitted dress with antique mirror work and checked handloom scarf with black phunnas, the wrap short jacket, collage skirt, kaftan and khadi skirt-palazzo with red calligraphy sides.
