Thousands of pilgrims visited 'Mudiya Poono' fair in Goverdhan area here today.
The Mathura district administration has extended the fair by two days till Monday in view of unprecedented rush of pilgrims.
"Facilities like transport, parking, etc. Arranged for the 'Mudiya Poono' fair would continue at least till Monday in view of unprecedented rush of pilgrims... Elaborate security arrangements are also in place," District Magistrate Rajesh Kumar said.

Meanwhile, two pilgrims including a woman suffered electric shock when they came into contact with overhead power supply lines.
The incident took place when 60-year-old Brajesh and his daughter-in-law Rekha, residents of Kheragarh in Firozabad, went to dry their clothes on a stationary bus.
"The duo were rushed to the Goverdhan primary health centre where they were given first-aid and later discharged," Superintendent of Police (City) Shailesh Pandey said.
