Three persons, accused of stabbing to death a man in Kotwali area of the city, have been arrested, police said today.
On the night of July 3, Vikas Sharma, in his mid-thirties, was allegedly stabbed to death for not repaying Rs 10 lakh that he had borrowed from one of the accused, Neeraj Sharma, four years ago during councilor's elections as his wife was contesting for the same post, police said.
Neeraj along with his associates had heated argument and scuffle with him and in a gush of rage stabbed Vikas, who was declared brought dead in hospital, they said.

While one of the accused, Bittoo, was arrested earlier, three others -- Neeraj, Pankaj and Neeraj alias Chiddawere -- were held last evening from Koat village, said Superintendent of Police Salman Taj Patil.
Police have recovered three knives and a car which were used during the offence, he said.
The three have been sent to jail after interrogation, Patil said.
