Three people have been arrested from the Rohini area here for their alleged involvement in betting in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) matches, the police said today.
Sanjay Garg, Jai Prakash and Shekhar Aggarwal were arrested from Rohini North yesterday, a senior police officer said.
Four laptops, more than 24 mobile phones and other relevant documents have been seized from their possession, he said.
The accused were running an illegal online cricket betting racket on the Sylhet Sixers vs Rajshahi Kings match in the BPL, the officer said, the officer said.
