Ram Ashok, Iqbal Husain and Anwar have been arrested and two different cases of drugging have been solved, police said.

Ashok was arrested for allegedly drugging a passenger who was waiting at the New Delhi Railway Station for a train on July 6.

"Ashok offered Faiyazuddin some tea and biscuits. After eating, he became drowsy and unconscious. He was transferred to a hospital by a policeman who was on duty. Due to this, the accused person did not succeed in stealing the belongings of the complainant," a senior police official said, adding that Ashok was arrested later.

Iqbal Husain and Anwar were arrested for drugging one Murari Shani while travelling to Rudrapur from here.

"Two boys approached him and developed friendship with him. At night at about 12:30 PM, one of them offered him tea and biscuits. After eating the biscuits, he became unconscious. He was shifted to Loknayak Jai Prakash Hospital for treatment. The complainant in his statement reported that his bag containing educational certificates, mobile phone, Rs 20,000 and clothes, were found missing," the official said.
