Three arrested for mobile thefts

Three youths were arrested in separate cases of mobile thefts in the capital, police said today

The arrested have been identified as Sahid (28), Pawan (20), both residents of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh and Raja (19) of Etawah, Uttar Pradesh.

Three mobile phones have been recovered from them.

Sahid was arrested by the staff of Yamuna Depot Metro police at Rajiv Chowk Metro station on the complaint of one Parshant Mishra. A stolen mobile of the complainant was recovered from him.

Police at Old Delhi Railway Station police arrested Raja when he was trying to steal the mobile phone of one Hakumat Rai.
 

Another accused Pawan was caught when he was allegedly trying to pick pocket the mobile phone of Pankaj Kumar who was standing in queue at the ticket counter at the same station, police said.
