"The accused were absconding after the incident. The police were busy collecting information from different sources which led to their arrest," Superintendent of Police Muralidhar said.
The people of the town had expressed anger on January 7 following the molestation of the girl on the road near the main market of the town.
The girl was going to take tuition with her father.
The locals caught one miscreant after which a gang of youths had raided the area and beat those who had caught the culprit, police said.
FIR was lodged against three accused, Muralidhar said.
