Mohd. Aaqil, Mohd. Shahid and receiver of stolen property Md. Uwjeb were arrested for robbing one Mayur Jain while he was travelling in a TSR vehicle.
During the course of investigation, auto driver Md. Bichalu was arrested on April 24 and he confessed that he along with his accomplices namely Mohd. Shahid and Mohd. Aaqil had committed the crime.
On the basis of technical surveillance and criminal intelligence, Shahid, Aaqil and Uwjeb were arrested by the police team.
Two daggers, one Samsung Galaxy and one Samsung Hero mobile phone were recovered from their possession, a senior police official said.
