Three arrested in Rs 46 lakh cash theft case in Delhi

The Delhi Police's Crime Branch today claimed to have solved a recent case of theft of Rs 46 lakh from the office of a businessman in north Delhi's Rohini area with the arrest of three persons.

The arrested are -- Rahul Kumar (22) and Jitender Singh (27) of Bulandshahar in Uttar Pradesh, and Babloo (22) of Aligarh, they said.

On June 28, Ankit Gupta had reported that one of his servants, Rahul, had allegedly fled after stealing a bag containing Rs 46 lakh cash from his office in Sector-7, Rohini, the police said.

After investigation, two of his servants alongwith one of their accomplice was arrested near the Japanese Park, Rohini.
 

Police recovered stolen cash worth Rs 35.80 lakh from their possession.
