Three arrested, Subzi Mandi blind murder case solved: Police

With the arrest of three persons, the city police today claimed to have solved a blind murder case that took place in Subzi Mandi area recently.

The three accused have been identified as Mohsin (30), Anil (22) and Deepak (21), police said.

"On August 7 a PCR call was received that the body of a male, aged about 20-25, was lying on the ground and his stomach and face were eaten away by some animals.

"Some parts of his mutilated head were also found lying near the body. Signs of sharp injuries were also found over his head and his cloth was found burnt," a senior police official said.
 

The victim was later identified as Anup, resident of Bawana Industrial Area.

"During the sustained interrogation, the blind murder case was worked out and family members of the deceased have been traced," the official said.
