Three persons were arrested in the Sriganganagar district today and 210 grams of the banned drug heroin, estimated to be worth over Rs 21 lakh in the global market, was recovered from them, the police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, we carried out raids in Gajjewala village from where 210 grams of heroin worth over Rs 21 lakh was recovered.
"Om Prakash Bishnoi, Om Prakash Jat and Rakesh Kumar Suthar, all residents of Bikaner district have been arrested," SHO, Bajju police station, Bhawani Singh said.
He claimed the accused had accepted their crime in preliminary interrogation and added that the trio has been booked under the NDPS Act and further investigation is on.
