Three persons were arrested today with 40 intoxicating injections and 420 intoxicating tablets from different places in the district, police said.
The arrested have been identified as Mandeep Kumar alias Manga of local Shivpuri, Yogesh Sood of village Kahna Dhesian (Goraya) and Rakesh Kumar of village Bhabiana (Phagwara), they said.
Police said the trio was apprehended from different places by patrolling police parties.
Manga was arrested near Basra Palace on Phagwara-Banga road with 40 intoxicating injections, Sood was arrested from village Bhogpur with 180 intoxicating tablets while Kumar was arrested near village Bir Dhandoli with 240 tablets.
Police said they have been booked under relevant Sections of NDPS Act.
