Three persons have been arrested for allegedly possessing over 1 kg of cannabis in Jammu district, police said today.
A police party intercepted a tanker driven by one Randeep Singh in Domana area of the district last evening. Upon search of the vehicle, police recovered over 1 kg of cannabis, they said.
The driver and two others, Goutam Singh and Parshotam Kumar of Simbliya Bala-Baba Talab, were arrested, police said, adding that the vehicle was seized.
A case has been registered at Domana police station in this connection and investigation is on, they said.
