Three bodies found in Kashmir

Three bodies including that of a woman were found from separate places in Kashmir division, prompting police to start investigations.

The woman victim was identified as Kunzes Dolma, a resident of Chonglamsar. Her body was found from the Indus river bank at Kharu village of Leh, 434 kms from here, a police spokesman said.

He said the woman had gone missing on May 26 and remained untraced despite all out efforts by police.

In another case, he said a police party recovered body of Abdul Majeed Padd from Bandi Bala forests in Chandoosa area of Baramulla district.

Another victim, was identified as Tahir Ahmad Ganie, a resident of Kangan, whose body was found from Behama in Ganderbal district, the spokesman said.
 

Police has registered separate cases in connection with the recovery of the bodies and started investigations, the spokesman said.
