Three persons were booked for allegedly eve-teasing and assaulting a woman at a village in Jalesar area of the city, police said today.
The incident occurred Sunday night when the three accused, all residents of Pawara village under Jalesar kotwali, allegedly caught the woman and attempted rape on her when she was alone at her home, a police official said.
The woman resisted and raised an alarm when the accused allegedly assaulted andbeat herup, he said.
Police have lodged an FIR against the three accused, including one Dhiraj, yesterday but no arrest has been made so far, police said, adding investigations are on.
