In a tragic incident, three
brothers were electrocuted today in a village under Laxmipur police station area in Bihar's Jamui district, a police officer said.
The incident took place in Pawana village, where upon finding their cow in distress after coming in contact with a live electric wire, the three brothers ran towards it and touched the animal, receiving fatal electric shocks and died on the spot, Laxmipur police station in-charge Devanand Paswan said.

The victims were identified as Azad Sav (28), Sanjiv Sav (25) and Suryadev Sav (22), he said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem at the Sadar hospital, Paswan added.
