Three child labourers were today rescued from a restaurant here in an operation carried out by the Child Protection Department.
Rescued child workers belonged to Uttar Pradesh who have been working as labourers in a restaurant here.
Stating this, District Child Protection Officer Megha Singla said she had received information that child labourers had been working in the restaurant and had not been living in a hygienic condition.

The children were taken to civil hospital at Ambala City where their medical was conducted.
Rescued children would be kept in a shelter house at Ambala Cantt for the time being and after the meeting of child welfare council to be conducted tomorrow a final decision would be taken.
Megha said that the parents of the children would also be informed and legal action would be taken against the restaurant owner in this regard.
