The children, identified as Dilkush Kumar (8), Ekant Kumar (6) and his sister Ruchi Kumari (5) were taking bath in the river when they slipped in deep water, Circle Officer (CO) Jaikrishna Prasad said.
The bodies were fished out by the local fishermen, he said.
The children were natives of Sanha Parora village and had gone to the river embankment to collect soil for making earthen oven for Chhath festival, Prasad said.
