Three-day AIBEA Conference at Kochi

Over 3,000 delegates from all over the country, including 100 from abroad, are expected to participate, a press release said here today.

A Public session will be inaugurated by Union Minster for Non Resident Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi. Justice V R Krishna Iyer will deliver the theme address.

Noted Parliamentarian and General secretary of AITUC, Gurudas Dasgupta, MP, General Secretary of World Federation of Trade Unions, George Mavrikose (Greece), S Nagarajan, General Secretary of All Indian Bank Officers Association, will be among those addressing the meeting on Feb 9.

Deputy Governor of RBI Dr K C Chakrabarty will address a seminar on 'make banking fundamental right' on Feb 10.

 

On Feb 11, George Varikose will deliver a special address. A Special women's session will also be held on that day.

Spreading the message of Mass banking,the national conference propaganda jathas that commenced on Jan 29 from Kasaragod and Thiruvananthapuram will reach here on Feb7.

The conference is being held in Kerala after 49 years. It was last held in the state in 1964 at Thiruvananthapuram.
