Three-day National Executive of RSS from tomorrow

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's National Executive will be meeting here for three days from tomorrow in the presence of its Chief Mohan Bhagwat.

'We normally take stock of the organisational matters in the Baitak and planning for future programmes of the RSS are held at the meeting', RSS All India Prachar Pramukh Dr Manmohan Vaidya told reporters here.

Discussions on border security, environmental degradation in the name of development and increasing radical elements in Islam would be discussed and resolutions passed at the meeting, being held in Kerala for the first time.

'We need to have firm policy to secure borders. The condition of the people in the border areas was very 'pathetic'. They do not have infrastructure facilties',he said.
 

Another resolution will be on the environmental degradation going on in the name of development. 'We want developemnt, but it should not be at the cost of ecology...There is increasing radical element in Islam which was a national phenomena," he said.

Around 375 seniormost RSS functionaries from all over the country are participating in the meeting which would be Presided by RSS General secretary, Suresh Joshi.

On whether the Ram temple issue would be discussed at the meeting, he said the temple is the demand of Hindu society and RSS has said it will be with the society.

'We cannot set a time frame for that. We want the court to give its judgement as early as possible', he said. BJP had met the MPs of all parties to explain the situation and seeking support. We will appeal to every party as the court has given the judgement', he said.
