At least three persons died and five others sustained serious injuries when the van in which they were travelling overturned near Bharuamunda in Odisha's Balangir district today, the police said.
Fifteen others also received minior injuries in the accident, the police said adding the van carrying above 22 persons was returning from Hirakud area. All of them had gone to harvest crops.
The seriously injured were rushed to the V S S Medical College Hospital at Burla for treatment, they added.
