Three persons were killed and one seriously injured when their car rammed into a milk tanker near Kokapet on the Outer Ring Road here today, police said.
The incident occurred at around 6.30 AM when the car on its way from Patancheru to Barkatpura here hit the tanker from the rear side, killing the three youths while severely injured one, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shamshabad Zone), A R Srinivas, said.
One of the deceased, Varun Pawar, has been identified as grandson of chairman of Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) Pervaram Ramulu, the DCP said.

The other two men were identified as Amit Pawar and E Ghyan Dev, while the injured one as Rahul Pawar.
All the victims are in the age group of 25-30 and further probe in the matter is on, police said.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao expressed over the deaths in the road accident near Kamareddy in Nizamabad district, an official release said.
He instructed the officials concerned to make arrangements for providing better medical treatment to the injured, it added.
