Three persons, including the father of a man from whose marriage ceremony they were returning, were killed in a road accident last night in the Wazirganj police station area here.
Dharampal (44) had gone to drop his two friends Ram Niwas (42) and Jaivir (42) home when an unidentified vehicle hit their motorcycle near Rohaniya Pyau village last night, SP, Dehat Sanjay Rai said today.
All the three died on the spot, Rai said.
Dharampal son's 'baraat' (marriage procession) had gone to a village in the area and after the ceremony he was on his way to drop his friends home when the accident took place, the SP added.
