Three die in separate road accidents in Mathura

Three people were killed and four others injured in separate accidents in the district, police said today.

In the first incident, Rafi Khan (42) and Javed (39) died on the spot after the car they were travelling in sped out of control and crashed into the back of a truck last night, they said.

Four others, who were also in the car, were referred to a hospital in Faridabad. The victims were on their way to Gurgaon after attending a wedding in Karahari village here.

In another incident, a man was killed after being hit by a car while changing a punctured tyre of his vehicle on the Yamuna Expressway.
 

Anil Singh, who was returning from Agra, succumbed to his injuries in a hospital. A case has been registered against the unidentified driver, they added.
