Three persons were drowned when their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a river in Kargil district of frontier Ladakh region, police said here today.
A mini load carrier skidded off the road and plunged into the river Shangoo near Drass and three people were drowned, a police spokesman said.
He said efforts are on to retrieve their bodies from the river.
