Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir today registered a case against three manufacturer's for supplying inferior quality drugs and warned of "stern action" against those found indulging in "unethical trade" in the state.
"Three drugs - Pentac-20 capsules (Batch No PLPT-08125), Sifspas tablets (batch No 6J-197) and Antacid Liquid 170 ml (batch No 133) were found to be of inferior quality by the analysts following which the enforcement staff of Drug and Food Control organisation has booked their manufacturer's and dealers," an official spokesman said.
He said Pentac-20 was manufactured by Haridwar-based Messrs Technica Labs and Pharma Private Limited, Sifspas tablets manufactured by M/s Mkbro Health Care Pvt Ltd 83-Mulanpur Road Ludhiana, and others; and Antacid Liquid manufactured by M/s Adorit Pharma Pvt Ltd 48, Garoba Maidan, Nagpur.

"He has warned that any person indulging in unethical trade shall be dealt sternly as per spirit of Law in vogue," the spokesman said.
