Three get life term for murdering policeman

A special court here today awarded life imprisonment to three persons for murdering a policeman following a dispute in December 2012.

In his verdict, the special judge Devendra Singh Solanki held Deepak Kadam, Mahesh Hiralal and Motilal guilty for killing head constable Sajjan Mishra.

The court also imposed fine of fine of Rs 5,000 on each convict, said prosecution advocate Manish Sakrikar.

According to prosecution, the trio had shot Mishra dead in Anjad town in the district, following a long-pending dispute.

They were arrested later and booked for murder.
