Three suspected militants of the Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA) were arrested from a forest area under Krishnai police station by security forces today.
Acting on intelligence inputs, a joint team of Army and Assam Police launched an operation in the area along the Assam-Meghalaya border and arrested the three militants, Army officials said.
Three rifles, four cartridges and three mobile handsets were recovered from them, they said.
