Three held for carjacking in Delhi-NCR

Three persons, including an MBA graduate, have been arrested for allegedly stealing vehicles and carjacking in Delhi-NCR.

The accused have been identified as Saurav (26), who started a placement agency of his own after finishing MBA from a private institute; Sunil Tiwari (29), who was employed in the placement centre; and their unemployed friend Shivam Verma, police said.

Two were arrested after a nearly seven-km chase, while the third escaped. On questioning the two, the police reached their hideouts and arrested the third accused too, police said.

The gang was involved in at least five cases registered in Delhi and Gurgaon, DCP (West) Pushpendra Kumar said.
