Three held for killing property dealer in Maharashtra

Three persons have been arrested for allegedly killing a 35-year-old property dealer here, police said today.

On February 17, Ranjit Mangawana was shot dead at the Artillery Centre Road in Nashik Road area at around 1 AM, Sanjay Sanap, Inspector with Nashik Crime Branch, was quoted saying in a release.

Acting on a tip-off, Vinod Salve, Sanjay Baig and Rohit Male were apprehended last night from Igatpuri in the district in connection with the case, he said.

They along with a fourth accused had gone to Mangawana's house following which they took him to the Nashik road area where he was shot dead. The accused then fled from the spot, the officer said.
 

One of the accused is still at large and efforts are on to nab him, police said, adding, investigations are on.
