Three held for Noida violence during trade union strike

Three persons were arrested today for their involvement in Noida violence in which several vehicles were burnt and factories damaged on February 20 during trade union strike after they were identified on CCTV footage.
Muchendra, a resident of Bareilly, Ashok, hailing from Moradabad, and Minu, living in Dhaulana were produced before the court today which sent them to 14 days judicial remand.
They were working at Noida Phase 2 factories.
"These rioters were identified through CCTV footage and also identified by factory staff," DSP Raj Kumar Mishra said.
Last night, three trade union leaders were arrested by police.
Till date,286 cases have been registered by industrialists against rioters at Noida Phase 2 police station, 53 at Sector 58 police station and 2 at sector 20 police station.
 
Police have arrested 137 rioters till late evening today.
