Excise officials today arrested three persons, including an aeronautical engineer, from Malkajgiri here for allegedly peddling high-end narcotics and seized LSD and MDMA worth around Rs 70,000 from them.
The accused are identified as I Shiva Shankar Reddy, a final year B.Com student, B Akshay, aeronautical engineer, and Mohd Ashraf (all aged between 23 to 25), a senior official said.
The officials seized 24 lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) blots and two and methylenedioxy- methamphetamine (MDMA) units from them and a case under NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act was registered.
