Four persons, including a state electricity discom employee, were arrested in separate incidents while allegedly accepting bribe, Anti-Corruption Bureau officials said today.
Hemant Jadhav, an engineer posted at Maharashtra electricity discom's (MSEDCL) Gavan branch in Panvel here was arrested by Navi Mumbai ACB unit yesterday while accepting bribe of Rs 40,000 through a middle-man Gajanan Anna Koli for doing an official favour to the complainant, Additional SP, ACB Thane, Shrinivas Ghadge said.
Koli was also arrested along with Jadhav, he added.

In the second trap, also laid by ACB Navi Mumbai Unit, an Inspector with APMC market in Vashi was nabbed red-handed while he took Rs 1,000 bribe to issue NOC to the complainant.
In another trap laid by the Thane ACB unit, a rural development officer Anna M Waghmode from Padgha was arrested yesterday for accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000, Ghadge said.
All the three officers were booked under relevant sections of Prevention of Corruption Act and investigations into all cases were on, he said.
