Three persons have been arrested for allegedly trying to book rooms in government circuit house fraudulently in the name of a BJP legislator.
According to Sanjay Sharma, MLA from Anoopshahr seat here, he received a call from DM Faizabad seeking clarification on whether he had recommended reservation of rooms for three persons at Faizabad circuit house.
After Sharma denied having made any such recommendation, police came into action and on a complaint by the watchman of circuit house arrested the three.
Two of accused belonged to Ghaziabad while the third was from Bulandshahr.
