Three persons were arrested here today in connection with the killing of a senior Congress worker in a hit and run accident at nearby Baikampady last week, police said.
Gangadhar Pangala (55) was killed in an accident at Baikampady on May 15, while returning from Muloor by his two wheeler when an unidentified vehicle hit him and sped away.
The victim's family had raised doubts about the death.

The main accused Satish Baikampady is still at large and there could be more persons involved, police said.
The CCTV footage in the camera installed in the goods railway station showed a jeep waiting and then knocking down the scooter Pangala was riding.
Pangala was tipped to be nominated as chairman of the Karnataka State Fisheries Development Corporation. One of the accused is said to have been an aspirant for the post.
