Three held on charges of selling fake currency notes

The Haryana Police today arrested three persons on charges of printing and selling fake currency notes.

Rishi Pal, Rahul and Jarnail Singh were arrested in Kaithal in Haryana, police said.

All the three were produced before a court which sent Pal to one-day police custody and two others to judicial custody.

"As many as 173 fake Indian currency notes of Rs 100 denomination each, a photostat machine, a printer and papers have been recovered from their possession," a police spokesman said.
