Three persons were arrested today with Rs. 2.09 lakh cash, besides arms and ammunition, from a village in Bihar's Munger district, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sanjay Kumar Singh raided Mai village and arrestsed three persons, identified as Lalan Chaudhary, Bablu Isar and Rinku Isar and seized Rs. 2.09 lakh cash, besides a double barrel gun, a country-made rifle, a pistol and 50 ammunitions from them, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Barun Kumar Sinha said.
The three arrested have been booked under relevant provisions of law for indulging in electoral malpractices and sent to jail, he said.
