Three persons were injured and eight houses collapsed following landslides triggered by torrential rain at Barbara in Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh, an official said today.
The local administration evacuated the people of the entire village to a safer place after the landslide on Friday, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dilip Kumar Chutia said.
A road, two culverts and a bridge were also damaged in the rain that is continuing for the past few days.

Immediate relief materials and monetary assistance have been provided to the affected people, he said.
